Carmit Candy Industries Ltd. is a public company in the industry sector specializing in the development, marketing, export and import of chocolates, pastry, granola, frozen snacks, marshmellow and soft drink products both for consumers in Israel and for the industrial/professional sector, including ice-cream makers, dairy farms, pastry makers, chocolate makers, pastry shops, bakeries, ice-cream parlors and restaurants. Carmit was established in 1973 by the businessman Lenny Sackstin, who also serves as the company chairman, and currently exports its products directly from Israel mostly to North America and Europe, and in doing so is a true source of proud for Israelis.
